The last layout from my December Studio Calico kit! This one is pretty simple. I added the red SU glitter paper, the sequins from my stash, and the "Santa Claus is on his way" is cut from a piece of PP from my stash (Recollections)

This is one of my most favorite layouts that I have completed in a very long time! I just could not stop looking at it! Of course that is mostly due to the photo's of my girls with my Dad, but I love it all! Everything is from the kit except for the bakers twine, October Afternoon Sprinklers and the Studio Calico wood veneer.
Other than the pics, I love the embellishment cluster on the top left corner. I adhered the top of the PP banners down flat, and then added a SU Dimensional under the bottom to give it some dimension. After I stapled on the arrow I decided to add the wood veneer and tucked it under the arrow. I love how it turned out!

Another December Studio Calico page done and I only have 2 more to post! I used almost all of the PP this month (no full sheets left!) and a bunch of the embellishments as well! I still need to look up the date for this photo, but it was sometime in 2004!

For this layout of the girls saying goodbye to Neila I combined pieces from the Sock Hop and the 34th Street Studio Calico kits, as well as added some items from my stash. The background paper, flower die cuts and the October Afternoon Mini Market alphas are from the Sock Hop kit. The brads, backside of a branding strip, pink harlequin paper (from a pocket) and the orange woodgrain tab are from the 34th street kit. The doily, flair, bakers twine and the American Crafts letter stickers are from my stash.

This is the first layout that I completed using the 34th Street kit from Studio Calico. I am really pleased with how this one turned out. There will be a 6x12 divided page protector opposite this with a couple more pictures, but I still need to add some embellishments to it. The only things that I added to the kit were the Studio Calico Wood Veneer Stars (love them!!), the tags and the washi tape. The journaling is hidden in a pocket made out of one of the cello bags that the kit embellishments are shipped in.

Here are the rest of the layouts that I completed using my November Studio Calico kit. I still had quite a bit of the kit left, but used up all of my favorites and decided just to add the rest to my stash so that I could get to work on the December kit! It is funny that I scrapped 2 very similar pictures with this kit, though what is even funnier is that I scrapped another one last month! The photos were taken months apart and the journaling tells different stories, but I really like both pages! Luckily they will be spread apart in the albums since while I do not scrap chronologically, I do put them in the albums chronologically!
