She's 4!

I purchased the My Minds Eye - Sweetest Thing - Honey collection from MyCraftChannel.com last month and was so excited to break it out and play! The colors in the collection matched the photos perfectly, and I love all of the patterns! The only items not from the collection is the washi tape!

Strike a pose

Here is another Chinese Whispers layout! This layout will be facing the Fun in the Fountain layout when I get them put in the album, so I used the same My Minds Eye collection and book paper. I added the hexagons again, but this time instead of misting it through the mask that I made from the PTI Happy Hexagons plate, I used the Picket Fences (I think that is what it is called)  paint dauber from Tim Holtz.

Lolo's Animals

Here is another layout that I completed with the Studio Calico kit for the Chinese Whispers challenge at ScrapHappy. I am not really thrilled with the trapped space between the title and the journaling but I was following the lead from the layout that I received. I think that I am going to move the journaling cluster up under the title.

I love Megan's Smile!

I actually got back in the craft room this weekend! I pulled out a Studio Calico kit (it was for a 2Peas class I believe, but I did not take the class I just wanted the kit!) and browsed my Layouts Board on Pinterest and found this layout to inspire me!

And here is what I came up with!
Everything is from the kit except for the kraft CS, the threading water punch, the pearls, the prima flowers, the white CS and the Technique Tuesday stamp  - you. It might have been easier to list what WAS in the kit ;)

For the flowers I did not have any in the right shade of blue/green or peach. For the blue ones I misted it with some mist (October Afternoon - Sidewalks collection I believe) , and the peach ones I stamped on using the PTI text stamp and ink. I then misted all of the flowers in the shimmery Mister Huey mist and added some pearls in the center.

I love how this turned out!
