November Studio Calico Kit Video

Ok. I attempted another video this month! This time I am showing off what I received in my November Studio Calico Kit + add-on. I like the camera set-up much better, though I still need to figure out the background noise. The heater/air-conditioner closet is right next to my craft room, and there is also an old computer in the room that has a loud fan.

Relax

I am really pleased with this last layout using my October Studio Calico kit! The photo is blurry, but I wanted to capture this moment with the girls and the dogs hanging out, and Megan using Jäger as an ottoman.

I also made a video with an overview of all of the layouts made with my October Studio Calico kit. I have found a better camera set up since I made this, and need to figure out the background noise.

Self Portrait

Another layout completed using my October Studio Calico Kit! Everything is from the main kit except for the ink and the bakers twine. I am trying to incorporate more white space into my layouts, and I used strips of PP that I did not really love, but challenged myself to use.

You color my world

I love this layout that I completed using the Studio Calico Kit! It is bright and cheerful, which is more my style of scrapbooking. I have not journaled yet, as I am not sure what I want this layout to say. I used my PTI Hexagon plate to die cut the hexagon shapes from the PP and some white CS. I used the coordinating stamps to add some texture, and added the Studio Calico asterick stamp to the top of a few. It fit perfectly! I also used the packaging from the MME enamel dots to ground my Title. The title is a mix on stamps ("You"), thickers that were colored and embossed (Color) and alphas from this kit and last months.

Going going gone

Another Studio Calico kit layout! The photos are dark, but I thought that the wood background paper worked well with the bowling lanes. I added some washi from my stash to brighten up the layout a bit, and to pull in the pink from the photo on the left. Some Mister Huey was misted on and I LOVE the wood grain Thickers and the epoxy dots.

A desk of their own

This is the first layout that I completed with the Studio Calico - October Kit titled Roller Rink.
The only items not from the kit are the Mister Huey mist and the blue letters in the title. The kit came with blue alpha stickers, but they were not the right shade of blue for this layout. I love the school paper washi tape. It is wide enough for journaling, though i did layer 2 pieces together to fit all of my journaling!

Piano Play

Another layout using the October Afternoon Sidewalks collection! I was inspired by a layout that I saw on Pinterest, but apparently I did not pin it on my Layouts board because I can not find it now! This photo is a favorite of mine, with my Dad and Megan playing the piano. I used the PTI music stamp on the background, as well as some music note washi tape (Tim Holtz?) I have been trying to include stamping more in my scrapbooking. Lots of punched circles layered together and clustered and I love how it turned out!

Sweet Hugs from Grandma

I decided to take a break from my Studio Calico scrapping and get back to my bright and happy colors! I pulled out my October Afternoon - Sidewalks collection and made this page. It is so much easier to create with colors and papers that you love!

One Christmas Gift Done

I will not say who the gift is for... just in case she finds her way to my blog before Christmas, but my first handmade Christmas gift is done and I am so pleased! I used the Secretary Tutorial from Paper Phenomenon and it was very easy to follow! The paper is from Recollections I believe, and I used a knob from Tim Holtz and some misc trim from my stash. And LOTS of chipboard!
